The BBC roll into High Bradfield

TV Star David Jason will be filming in High Bradfield on Friday, reports MattD in the Postcode Gazette.

The star of some of the very best British comedy and drama like Only Fools and Horses and Frost is directing a new BBC comedy about 'dysfunctional undertakers'.

Pearly Gates is a sitcom pilot set around a struggling family-owned funeral business and stars Mark Williams from The Fast Show.

It is due to be filmed around St Nicholas Church in High Bradfield.

The road around the church will be closed on and off temporarily while filming takes place.
