BRADFLIX COMING SOON - JOIN THE FUN
The Village Hall is investing in a large screen format cinema equipment so we are able to screen movies. BRADFLIX will launch on Saturday 9th October with a double bill of "Walk the line" and "The Goonies".
The provisional line up is as follows:
Saturday 9th October - 3.00pm - The Goonies
It's excitement all the way as Steven Spielberg and Richard Donner, the makers of 'Indiana Jones', 'Gremlins' and 'Superman', combine forces to create the Family Adventure of the year!
Saturday 9th October - 7.15pm - Walk the line
A chronicle of country music legend Johnny Cash's life, from his early days on an Arkansas cotton farm to his rise to fame with Sun Records in Memphis, where he recorded alongside Elvis Presley, Jerry Lee Lewis and Carl Perkins.
Saturday 27th November - 3.00pm - How to Train your Dragon
A hapless young Viking who aspires to hunt dragons becomes the unlikely friend of a young dragon himself, and learns there may be more to the creatures than he assumed.
Saturday 27th November - 7.15pm - The Shawshank Redemption
Two imprisoned men bond over a number of years, finding solace and eventual redemption through acts of common decency.
Saturday 18th December - 3.00pm - Disney's A Christmas Carol
An animated retelling of Charles Dickens' classic novel about a Victorian-era miser taken on a journey of self-redemption, courtesy of several mysterious Christmas apparitions.
Sunday 19th December - 7.15pm - Avatar Special Edition
A paraplegic marine dispatched to the moon Pandora on a unique mission becomes torn between following his orders and protecting the world he feels is his home.
Films for 2011
The scheduling will run through to May 2011 and we will be looking for your input as to the films we show. So please come along, watch some movies and get involved in choosing what we watch in 2011.
How to Join Bradflix
All you need to do is turn up to a film, fill in the form and pay the relevant fee.
Annual membership:
- Adult - £25.00
- Students / OAP's - £18.00
- Under 16's - £10.00 (associated adult ticket required: U16 on 1st Jan.)
- Family - £50.00 (2 adults, children U16 free)
- Single movie - £4.00
- Double bills - £7.00
Refreshments (popcorn, sweets, ice cream etc.) and licensed bar available PLUS you are invited to bring your own chair (if you like).
